The staff at this hostel were amazing. the organized daily activities, like pub crawls, made it easy to meet other travelers and have a fun time. the location of the hostel was unbeatable, with everything I wanted to see and do within walking distance. Plus, the budget-friendly prices were a definite advantage for anyone looking to explore on a tight budget.
There were some downsides to my experience at this hostel. the cleanliness of the property could have been better, as it seemed a bit old and dirty.

The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They took us on a 120-minute fancy party boat night-seeing cruise on the Danube, where we got breathtaking views of Budapest and took beautiful photos with the Parliament in the background. We also enjoyed playing billiards together at the hostel. The vibe at Vitae Hostel was incredible, and we had the opportunity to meet interesting people who added to our travel experience. it felt like being part of a big family rather than just hostel guests.
For dads, it would be great to have more family-friendly activities for children.

The dorm rooms at Vitae Hostel in Budapest were clean, spacious, and had a cozy vibe. As a family, we felt right at home in these well-maintained rooms. The secure environment gave us peace of mind, and we found it convenient that some rooms had a kitchen with a fridge, making it easy to store and prepare meals.
Subjectively, we found the lack of a dedicated dining area in some rooms to be slightly inconvenient. However, we understand that others might still find it enjoyable to have a kitchenette setup in their dorm room.

The hostel is located in a vibrant area with easy access to various attractions. You can easily meet new people at the social events organized by the friendly staff. The common areas are cozy, with a comfy kitchen and clean toilets and showers.
The bunk beds can be a bit uncomfortable, especially if your neighbor moves around a lot.
